It may come as a surprise to the residents of Richmond, that supermodel and television host Heidi Klum is separating from her husband of seven years. While it is unclear if Klum and Seal have filed for a divorce or a legal separation, the end of the marriage seems to be based off of Seal's temper.

According to a relationship expert, most people have "deal breakers" which can quickly lead to a break-up. Just as it seems Klum has discovered anger and temper problems are her deal breaker, it is important to learn what your deal breakers are. Knowing what pushes you over the edge or what is unacceptable in a relationship makes it easier for you to identify if there is a way to fix a dying relationship or when it is simply better to end the marriage altogether.

The Huffington Post reports that the couple has three children together and Seal also helped to raise a child from one of Klum's previous relationships. Reports indicate that Seal has had issues with controlling himself and his anger. Over time, it has started to have an effect on the couple's children, which drove Klum to the divorce.

Many of the more common deal breakers include infidelity, failing to keep up appearances, frugality and lying. Men and woman also tend to have different deal breakers. Men are more apt to divorce women because they are very independent or inflexible. On the other hand, women will break up with men who lack a life plan.

Whatever leads you to a divorce or legal separation, it is important to work with an experienced family law attorney. Negotiating a favorable divorce settlement, following all of the legal rules to end a marriage and ensuring that all of your rights are respected requires extensive legal help.
